Ok, it might not actually be suitable for those ages but judging by the size of it, you’d need to be that old to use it!

The new iPod shuffle is just 1.8″ (45.2 mm) tall, 0.7″ (17.5 mm) wide, 0.3″ (7.8 mm) thick and weighs 0.38 ounces (10.5 grams) . It features no buttons on the player itself and it controled by buttons on the headphones. You can now hear the name of the song that is playing, and the artist using a new VoiceOver feature which speaks 14 languages.

It uses the same controls as the iPhone, single click for play/pause, double click for nxt track and tripple click for previous track, it also features volume up/down buttons and the VoiceOver feature is activated by holding down the button.

While this is smaller than the previous iPod Shuffle it can store more music boasting a 4GB capacity (roughly 1,000 songs). t is made from stainless steel so if you do step on it I think it would survive.

Play mode is switched using a switch with one option for shuffle, another for playing in order and the third option ofcorse being off.

Interested in buying one? It will cost you US$79/AU$129and is available in silver or black.
