China has been monitoring and censoring messages sent through Skype.
Aparently there are thoudands of messages and recordings of conversations that have been recorded.
This might come as no surprise to you as china seems to be filtering just about everything else anyway.

There is a new program availiable for iPhone users that will allow you to make free calls to other iPhone users that also have the program. The catch? you need to have a WiFi connection wherever you are.
It’s basically Skype for the iPhone. It is currently availiable for download from the Apple Store.
